In co-operation with the Latvian National Cultural Center, master classes are held, which are led by the members of the competition jury. Over the years, the jury has included high-ranking professionals from Lithuania (kankles), Russia (gussles), Italy (harp, guitar). In 2021, Jolanta Babaliauskiene, a long-term member of the jury of this competition, Anda Eglīte, an excellent kokle player, lecturer of the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, and and competition initiator and kokle teacher at Jurmala Music High School Kristīne Dmitrijeva. Guitar master Kaspars Zemītis and Estonian orchestra musician and teacher Saale Rull. Dainis Vuškāns, a representative of the Latvian National Cultural Center, also participates in the jury.
Participants and teachers that participat in master classes will receive Latvian National Cultural Center certificates. Virtually anyone interested will be able to follow the master classes on the Jūrmala Music High School and competition Facebook page, as well as on the Youtube channel Jurmala Live.
